Biofabrication of magnetic nanoparticles and their use as carriers for pectinase and xylanase

In this study, superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MNPs) were synthesized via exposure of fungal cell filtrate from Aspergillus flavus to aqueous ions. The extracellular synthesis MNPs was monitored by UV–Vis spectrophotometry and showed an absorption peak at 310 nm. morphology found be flake-like, as confirmed Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), while the average crystallite size ?16 nm, determined X-ray diffraction (XRD). Energy dispersive (EDX) analysis performed confirm presence elemental Fe in sample. Pectinase xylanase covalently immobilized on with efficiencies ?84% 77%, respectively. Compared free enzymes, enzymes exhibit enhanced tolerance variation pH temperature demonstrated improved storage stability. Furthermore, residual activity about 56% for pectinase 52% xylanase, after four three consecutive use cycles,
